Jean-Jacques Lequeu: Visionary Architect. Drawings from the Bibliothèque nationale de France
“Jean-Jacques Lequeu: Visionary Architect. Drawings from the Bibliothèque nationale de France” at our partner institution, the Morgan Library & Museum, is the first New York City retrospective to showcase one of the most imaginative architects of the Enlightenment. Some sixty of Lequeu’s several hundred drawings will be on view. Six months before he died in poverty and obscurity, Lequeu donated his work to the Bibliothèque nationale de France (BnF) and this exhibition provides a rare opportunity to learn more about him. Visit the Morgan between January 31 and May 10, 2020 to take in these amazing works on paper and fascinating story.
