Q&A on Artists’ Letters

Join Jennifer Tonkovich and Philip Palmer, of our partner institution, The Morgan Library & Museum, on July 2nd at 4pm for a Q&A on Artists’ Letters. Among the items to be discussed is a letter Vincent Van Gogh wrote to Paul Gauguin about the attractions of Arles, and chronicled his progress on one of his masterpieces from the period, “Bedroom at Arles,” even including a sketch.

Tonkovich is the Eugene and Clare Thaw Curator, Drawings and Prints, and Associate Editor of Master Drawings. Palmer is the Robert H. Taylor Curator and Department Head, Literary and Historical Manuscripts.

The free live event takes place on Instagram. (@themorganlibrary).
